Instructional Strategies to Engage Reluctant Learners (webinar series)

There are growing requests from teachers for support on how to effectively engage students who are reluctant to learn at school. This has also been evident during remote learning and has revealed valuable insights in student engagement. There is also a need to update teachers’ professional knowledge to improve instructional strategies using multimodal tools that impact on student engagement. We are pleased to provide this 3 part webinar series that gives teachers the understandings, tools and strategies to transform their classrooms into engaging learning spaces for all students.

This three-part webinar series addresses the key issues in student disengagement that prevent students from reaching their full potential. Teachers will experience innovative and practical multimodal strategies that motivate reluctant learners which they can apply immediately in their classrooms to strengthen their instructional practice.

This webinar series will allow participants to:

  • Identify key issues that disengage their students from learning;

  • Recognise essential instructional practices that align with diverse learners' needs;

  • Experience how to engage students using the most effective and motivating multimodal strategies and tools;

  • Apply effective instructional practices to ensure learning progress;

  • Be empowered to make a positive difference in their classroom.
